Well, look at this. Even though King Jerm didn’t exactly love Raw Footage, you gotta give props to Ice Cube. He might not sale as much as his last album (Laugh Now, Cry Later sold 144,000 in it’s first week), but Cube’s been it the game for 23 years…and he’s only 39! Okay, of course we all expected Nasir to grab the top spot from Weezy on the Billboard 200. I’m still suprised that after all that publicity Nigger/Untitled recieved from main media outlets, that it only pulled in around 180,000. Damn Weezy, Tha Carter III will not be stopped. After 5 weeks the album regains the top spot and is inching closer to the double Platinum plaque. I hope some of ya’ll put some money aside to buy a copy of that new Nas. Well maybe you should have gave a little money to Killer Mike also; his recent album didn’t crack 4,000 sales. Other than that, nothing else really made waves this week as far album sales numbers. Read more
