The early 2000s was a weird time. Babyface was being confused for Maxwell. There was a new subgenre called “Neo-Soul” that was getting all the love. Marques Houston and Beyonce were just putting out their first solo albums after being apart of extremely successful groups. Janet Jackson hadn’t done the Super Bowl yet. It feels like a different era, because it was just a simpler time. Enjoy some music from my middle school/early high school years.
