I just realized that I have never (really) written anything about Playboi Carti on nappyafro. The reason is… *reads notes* because he makes music for young people and I’m old as fuck.
But that doesn’t stop me from admitting that people have been waiting on new music from Playboi Carti for a minute and he finally delivers that with a new song (and music video) titled “@ MEH”. This is all fresh off of the rapper recently being arrested in Atlanta on gun and drug charges and telling a cop he’ll fuck his daughter.
Beside the standard gibberish lyrics, the visuals are simple as it shows the rapper in a dark room in front of a backdrop with (too) quick shots of shapely women dancing. Directed by Playboi Carti & Nick Walker. Whole Lotta Red seems to be on the way soon.
