Three weeks until its release on February 14th and we are gifted with the second trailer for The Photograph starring Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield. The preview for the latest film from Director Stella Meghie (Everything, Everything and The Weekend) and producer Will Packer shows us Michael Block (Stanfield) as a reporter doing a story on the mother of Mae (Rae) and from their they start a relationship over Lucky Daye’s “Roll Some Mo” and Grammy Winner Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” while Mae has to make sure that she knows what she is doing and not becoming her Mom. The visuals, music (They got Robert Glasper to do the score?!), cast/characters, and story have my money. Now I need to find a date or confidence to watch this alone on Valentine’s Day Weekend.
She got y’all in April with the comedy as well with The Lovebirds with Kumail Nanjani on the 3rd.
In the same month, season four of Insecure premieres on the 12th.
