Eminem isn’t the only Shady rapper who recently dropped new material, Royce 5’9 Royce Da 5’9″ recently dropped the song “Overcomer” and today he drops the music video. “Overcomer” features Westside Gunn, which makes sense because he is also signed to Shady Records and this song also has a Griselda-type beat (Which was surprisingly produced by Royce himself).
While the visuals show the story of a Tekashi 6ix9ine type rapper, the big news from this song is that it contains a diss/warning from Royce to former Shady rapper Yelawolf. What did Yelawolf do? I have no idea but it’s already been a back and forth on the Internets from the rappers involved.
“Overcomer” is off Royce’s upcoming album, The Allegory, which drops on February 21st.
