I used to think that “End of the Year” lists were unseasoned articles created by writers that were running out the clock. At 30, I appreciate them as time capsules and reminders thanks to society’s waning attention span. (While this article is just my R&B and Hip-Hop playlists, I also did Pop and Rock playlists for the Alt-Day fans. I had enough time to do one for my half of my homestate on YouTube and TIDAL) Two playlists (5 in total) featuring hours of music so you know I have no complaints about contemporary artists because it’s so easy to find something new to like.
