Kate Kane/Batwoman
Kate Kane is Batwoman, and although Batman does trust her with his life, he doesn’t trust her with others. Kate has no issue with spilling blood from time to time. Like Batman, Kate has a past mired in darkness.
On Kate’s 13th birthday, she along with both her sister and mother were kidnapped by the Religion of Crime. Her father, who was an officer in the Marines, set out to save them. He was too late to save all of them as only Kate survived. She witnessed both her mother and her sister be tortured and then murdered in front of her.
Kate’s life after this would spiral out of control. She wanted to please her father, while also being an advocate for good. She joined the Marines and would later be accepted to West Point. She was kicked out however for having a sexual relationship with one of her roommates. She was chaptered out of the military for being homosexual. Her life would continue to spiral out of control as she would begin to abuse drugs and alcohol. One day she was high while walking in an alley and a man attempted to rape her. Batman came to her rescue, and that is how she started down the path of becoming Batwoman.
Her and her father would work very closely during her early days as Batwoman. He would act as her Luscious Fox, assisting her with weapons and gadgets.
