After nearly 2 weeks in a hospital, unsavory test results, and a failed surgery, the first thing my father wanted to hear after coming home was “Happy Feelings”. I want everyone’s week to start on a good note. I’ve had the thought recently that Frankie Beverly & Maze have an amazing life story because of anonymity. No one knows anything about the unsung heroes of Black functions beside hit songs and a penchant for white attire. I don’t even know where they are from and for me to see their biopic blindly I’m not even checking the small, simple facts. Prayers please for my Dad. Happy Week!
