Whoa. While he is beginning the last of his tour dates to support his latest album, Jay Rock shares his video videos with Jeremih, whose tour earlier this year ended sooner than he expected. TDE got Karena Evans to direct instead of The Little Homies is the first thing I noticed about Rock’s visuals for “Tap Out” off Redemption. When I first heard the song, I thought Eastside Johnny made a cool song for the ladies that wasn’t pandering too hard. With the video, this makes me want to revisit his third album to see where I rank it with this year’s best albums.
