I’m so surprised that in the long and sad history of this site, I’ve never posted Warren G‘s “This D.J.” as Song of the Week. I still remember when this song first came out in 1994 and being happy that Warren G was in fact NOT a one-hit wonder. “Regulate” is still great but the whole Regulate… G Funk Era album has always been dope.
I was reminded of Warren G’s greatness this week when I watched the new G Funk documentary on YouTube Red Premium. It’s an okay documentary but it’s more proof that Warren G is underrated as hell (Also, it’s been a slow week in terms of posting).
