I approve of trap rappers becoming (somewhat) socially conscious. On Rick Ross‘ new song “Buy Back The Block” featuring 2 Chainz & Gucci Mane, the theme is basically getting money and bringing it back to hood. Don’t get me wrong, you still have things like Gucci Mane rapping about a woman’s jaw hurting or Rozay sending shots a 50 Cent, but you gotta start somewhere right?
