Hideo Itami

In May of 2015, Hideo Itami unfortunately suffered a shoulder injury which would require surgery, and ultimately take Hideo out of action for a long period of time. NXT would use Hideo’s shoulder injury to their advantage, and turn it into a whodunit style storyline where Hideo Itami was attacked and injured in the parking lot of Full Sail University, just hours before NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable where Hideo Itami was scheduled to compete in a triple threat match to crown a new number 1 contender for the NXT Championship.

Just like every whodunit story there’s an assailant, and with many superstars as potential suspects here’s a rundown of the top 5 superstars who could of attacked Hideo Itami.

With a ton of rumored call ups and a few of these guys being busy, I’m gonna have to hope it’s Owens. I think Finn makes more sense but i don’t see WWE putting both new call ups in a feud on smackdown right out the gate. Using Owens to do so makes the most sense as far as booking goes. But even still, Owens is kinda busy too, especially if he wins the briefcase….shit, even if he doesn’t for that matter. i fully expect him to go full cry baby and start something with the person who wins if it’s not him.

Ascension would be decent because it’s an easy win and they ain’t doing shit. Also gives them time to put him in a lil tag team for a second.
