Cast of Dope (Shameik Moore, Kiersey Clemons, and Tony Revolori)
Watch Dope if you haven’t, I can’t tell people anymore about how good this film is so let me tell you about the cast. The three main roles are played by Shameik Moore, Kiersey Clemons, and Tony Revolori. I became a fan of Tony Revolori after seeing him in Wes Anderson’s 2015 film,The Grand Budapest Hotel. I was not familiar with Shameik Moore and Kiersey Clemons before seeing the latest Inglewood based film from Rick Famuyiwa. Moore played the lead role in the coming of age story commanding every scene that he appears in making you invested in his character, Malcolm, and the life decisions he is forced to make. Kiersey Clemons delivers in her supporting role with her comedic and dramatic scene work as the boys’ lone gay female friend.
Moore will be appearing in the Netflix series, The Get Down later this year.
Clemons will be appearing in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising this summer.
Revolori will be appearing in Table 19 and Low Riders both coming soon.
