Vic Mensa‘s “U Mad” came out officially this past April and I kind of just forgot about it. But in the last week or so I’ve started playing it a lot on the way to work. Besides getting me hype, it’s tailor-made for sport highlights or a wrestling entrance theme.
The music video is out and thankfully it keeps the energy of the song complete with spazzing out, riot cops, and Kanye West mean mugging. Of course there’s weird shit like that bull at the end but you come up with you own interpretations. Directed by Grant Singer. Vic Mensa’s album Traffic is due out later this year.
