10. The Babadook

At this point in my life, I’m not sure if any horror movie can legitimately scare me. But if you can’t scare me, at least move me a little. The Babadook is much more than a horror movie. It deals with the loss of a love one, motherhood, and other things while still checking all the boxes in the horror genre. It’s also a horror movie directed by a woman which is kinda cool too.
