The Numbers Game: Tech N9ne & Atmosphere

Tech

While Now 50 is the #1 album in the country, there were a few sneaky high debuts this week from some indie rap vets. Tech N9ne‘s Collabos: Strangeulation lands at #5 and sells 36,000 units. I was wondering if this was his highest debut but I’m not sure (#nofactchecking but I think it is). I have yet to listen to the album but shout out to Murs.

Another veteran act from the indie rap underground to hit the charts in the Top 10 this week is Atmosphere with their 7th album Southsiders. This isn’t the only time this group has been in the Top 10, but landing at #8 is still pretty good. Southsiders sells 23,000 copies in it’s first week.
