Machine Gun Kelly celebrated his 24th birthday (fark how young are these new rappers?!) by dropping a video for his AWOLNATION sampled track “Sail”. The video begins with MGK recreating visuals from his 2010 ‘hello to the world’ song “Chip Off The Block”. The video concept is trippy with sexy women wearing devil masks and even an astronaut stopping by. MGK seems to be in his element here. There are some similarities between this video and J. Cole’s “Who Dat” in the sense there’s a tracking shot following the artist while all this action happens around them. It’s clear that MGK took several takes though instead of just one like Cole did.
