Lately it feels like we’ve talked a lot about SZA in passing here on nappyafro and that makes sense because we’ve recently done a lot of stuff on TDE artists: She was on Isaiah Rashad’s Cilvia Demo (Which we reviewed), she was in ScHoolboy Q’s Oxymoron (Which we reviewed), and she was included in Dub’s Team Evaluation of the entire Top Dawg Entertainment roster.
So it only seems right that we post up a new video by TDE’s First Lady titled “Babylon”. Besides the song being nice, slow, and spacey, you also get to see SZA take off some clothes and wade in the water. She’s not naked or anything though; it may be a metaphor for rebirth or something. Directed by APLUSFILMZ. SZA’s album Z drops on April 8th.
