When I heard that Young Money was dropping a new compilation soon, Rise of an Empire, I wasn’t that excited. Watching the video for “We Alright”, a song off the compilation featuring Lil’ Wayne, Birdman, & Euro, I’m, still not excited but I’ll admit that it’s not a bad video. It’s some party shit going on here (Weezy throws up on a happy groupie), and a lot of champagne GTV drinking but it’s also some stuff inspired of The Wolf Of Wall Street too.
Also, I guess that really pushing Euro, who gives a good Drake impression here, as it feels like this is basically his song featuring Stunna & Tunechi (Also notice everybody wearing Euro shirts). Directed by Collin Tiley. Rise of an Empire drops March 11th.
Sidenote: So Chanel West Coast really is on Young Money huh? Okay.
