It’s a shame that Devin Copeland, aka Devin The Dude, has never gotten mainstream recognition for a superb career that has spanned 20 years. He may be the best living example of the phrase ‘best kept secret’. While Devin may only rap about weed, women, beer, and more weed, he does it in a Shakespearian way that adds an amazing amount of depth to his rather limited subject matter. The Dude has no qualms about being an average joe; that’s what gives him his appeal. And it’s that regular guy attitude that exudes out of this hilariously straightforward album cover from his debut solo record.
