DJ Esco & Future – No Sleep
Future didn’t release a single solo project in 2013, but he put out a ton of music thanks to compilations, singles, loosies and guest spots. All of this work propelled him to rap stardom and now his second album is one of the most anticipated projects of 2014. No Sleep doesn’t contain anything as massive as “Karate Chop” or “Tony Montana” but it should help to hold his fans over until Honest comes out. (Download)
Busta Rhymes & Q-Tip – The Abstract And The Dragon
I’m disqualifying this from contention for Mixtape of the Month because the vast majority of this tape is reissued material. However, you’re not going to be disappointed with the quality of the music on here, some of these tracks are all-time classics. And if you need a reminder of how good Busta and Tip can be, this is worth a download. (Download)
