The Numbers Game: B.o.B & The LOX

BoB

I honestly thought I wouldn’t get around to putting up these numbers today, but things happen and now you get a late Holiday edition of The Numbers Game. What’s weird is that while I’m more than happy to do this, I’m not really that interested in the new debuts this week.

You know how many requests we got to review B.o.B‘s Underground Luxury? None. I don’t know if that speaks on our popularity or Bobby Ray’s popularity, but I will point out that we did get three requests to review Troy Ave’s New York City: The Album (Just saying). Still, both albums are in my iTunes. Underground Luxury grabs the #22 spot and sells 35,000 units in it’s first week.

It’s funny how The LOX say Beyonce was inspiration behind them dropping their EP The Trinity without any promotion. And while The LOX didn’t do the numbers like Beyonce’s latest, it’s still only 4 songs and it still made it into the Top 150. The Trinity lands at #141 and moves 8,400 copies.
