A Zip And A Double-Click-May

It seemed like there were a ton of mixtapes released this month. Maybe everyone wanted to be sure to put their project out before the onslaught of major albums begins (Kanye, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Wale, etc.). But despite the volume of releases, there wasn’t much that stood out. I still found a handful of solid projects that are worth checking out though, and my top pick features some of the best beats that I’ve heard all year.

A few of his favorite rappers are Kanye West, MF DOOM, Jay-Z, and Kendrick Lamar.

Nothing really caught my eye from last month besides mr. mfn exquire’s mixtape, but have not played it yet to have an opinion. May have to download that Alexander Spit though.
