Gucci Mane – Trap God 2
I’ve never really understood the hype around Gucci (Except for “Lemonade”; that Bangladesh beat is awesome) and this tape doesn’t change my mind. There are a few big name guest spots on Trap God 2, including Lil’ Wayne, Wiz and his Brick Squad partner Waka Flocka. (Download)

Waka Flocka Flame – DuFlocka Rant 2
A lot of the criticism I heard about Triple F Life was that it was too mainstream sounding. Anyone who was missing the old Flocka will enjoy DuFlocka Rant 2. There’s nothing on here as good as “Hard in Da Paint”, but this tape is just as loud and insane as Waka’s earlier tapes. (Download)

Birdman – Rich Gang: All Stars
This is more of a compilation than a typical mixtape, Rich Gang: All Stars features highlights from recent and upcoming Cash Money and Young Money projects. There are a couple of nice joints on here but I don’t think I could handle listening to all 24 tracks in a row. (Download)

Rocko – Gift of Gab 2
Another up-and-coming Atlanta rapper, Rocko is getting a lot of hype for this tape. There are a couple of nice tracks on here like “Imagine Dat” and “You Can Tell” but the production is very generic. (Download)

Gucci Mane & Young Scooter – Free Bricks 2
Brick Squad have been going crazy with the mixtapes in 2013. Between the three I’m mentioning in this column, and projects by Young Scooter, OJ Da Juiceman, and Young Thug, Gucci’s team is flooding the market like an internet-era No Limit. (Download)
