Man, I actually miss when commercial Hip Hop mixed fun and fly lyricism instead of being so overly flossy and misogynistic. It’s almost how funny how you can look at this video on mute and think that he was spittin’ some more hardcore stuff based on what he wore (and ignore the dancing). Man, mainstream Hip Hop was so diverse and exciting back when this dropped in 91 (I think Jerm was still a fetus when this came out let him tell it). Anyway, I can feel a “back in my day” rant coming on from #TeamGeriatric so I’ll just leave this here for your enjoyment.
