XV – “Everyday Life”

XV-Everyday-Life-Art

I first heard XV on “Awesome”  on a little internet community I was part of and I thought dude was pretty dope. FFWD to now and folks are really championing him as one of the leaders of the new school…and I still agree. XV is one of those guys that seems to just “get it” to me. Effortless style, nice flows and a real feel for good music. His latest single “Everyday Life” is produced by The Awesome Sound and has the same positive vibe that he seems to roll with. Give it a spin, drop some feedback.
(sidenote: I’m a little partial to this one because he opened the song with a wrestling reference)

Saule Wright *the "e" is silent* is a chill cat that loves his Hip-Hop and R&B music. At times, he may throw in a few extra words here and there in his reviews, but he makes an effort to comment on the track, the lyrics, and other elements in each song when doing nappyafro's legendary track by track process. If he's not wandering around nappyafro.com trying to spark conversation, you'll find him either on soulections.com or twitter doing the same. Respected by many, disrespected by many, and respectful of both.

I thought he was going to blow up but so far he has just been wasted potential.

I wouldn’t call it wasted potential, it’s not like he’s making bullshit music or anything. He’s got talent and he’s using it right, people just aren’t catching on.
