I’ve been a big of Freddie Gibbs for a minute. But here’s the thing, I’m still not sure if him signing with Young Jeezy’s CTE was the best move. I’m mean, I’m sure he got some good money over it, and yes he has been more visual in the public eye, but the songs aren’t better than when he was just independent. For example, his new song “Pull Up” isn’t bad, Gibbs’ verse is good, and it has both Young Jeezy & T.I. but if you told me it was actually Jeezy’s song it wouldn’t surprise me. I guess I’m looking for more stuff like “National Anthem (Fuck The World)“,“Crushin’ Feelin’s”, or “Talkin’ Bout You”. Still excited about Gangsta Gibb’s upcoming mixtape upcoming project Baby Face Killa.
