The Numbers Game: WZRD, Estelle, Maino, Too Short, & Ja Rule

Even though Kid Cudi thought that his record company could have been more behind his latest project, WZRD still leads the new releases this week. The group consisting Dot Da Genius & Cudi sold 66,000 albums and grabs the #3 spot (Cudi also says that his next album may also be another WZRD album). If you haven’t yet, go check out our review of WZRD’s self-titled album.

Estelle marks the solo new R&B entry this week as her 3rd album All Of Me lands at the #28 spot and sells 15,000 copies. Check out our track by track album review of All Of Me here.

I tried to review Maino‘s new album Day After Tomorrow. I really tried. But for some damn reason it didn’t happen (But nobody seem to notice). Either way, his sophomore album stands at #94 and sells 6,300 units.

Damn, I had no idea that Too Short‘s new album came out last year. That’s kinda messed up seeing that he’s been releasing a lotta videos to promote it. Short Dog drops his 19th (Yup. 19th) album No Tresspassing and lands at #129 and sells 4,600 copies.

And last, live from prision, Ja Rule dropped his 7th studio album Pain Is Love 2 (aka PIL2). I’ll be honest, I listened to this album really fast and then deleted it off my computer. Just didn’t have time (But if you wanna chime in with your thoughts, feel free). PIL2 sells 3,200 copies and barely makes the charts at #197.

Sidenote: Can you tell I’m tired and I’m at work? Well, I am. Mind the typos.
