Saule Wright *the "e" is silent* is a chill cat that loves his Hip-Hop and R&B music. At times, he may throw in a few extra words here and there in his reviews, but he makes an effort to comment on the track, the lyrics, and other elements in each song when doing nappyafro's legendary track by track process. If he's not wandering around nappyafro.com trying to spark conversation, you'll find him either on soulections.com or twitter doing the same. Respected by many, disrespected by many, and respectful of both.

yeah, I think that’s my fave then Temptation then 1986

        • P-Body

This whole mixtape is a beast. This could be Mixtape Of The Year

  • http://twitter.com/SauleWright Saule Wright

my nigga KRIT shoulda put a pricetag on this shit.

  • H20

So…when is that album coming out again?

    • Vic “Smoke” Damone

       refer to “Handwriting” lol… never

  • Vic “Smoke” Damone

    Wow… WOW… This is amazing

  • P-Body

1986 song go hard as fuck. I wish I knew what sample that was. This mixtape is the shit for real. I can’t honestly say I love this mixtape. KRIT definitely representing the south very well and he sound like he could have been a student of Pimp C.

  • Arkitekt702

Props for this Saule. KRIT is killing the rap game right now. Is this mastered?

  • Quintinb777

Big K.R.I.T. doesn’t come off as my preferred type of hip-hop artist, yet that has not stopped him from becoming one of my current most enjoyed. This demonstrates his high degree of skill and ability as an artist. He deserves the acclaim I would expect this work to receive, as I certainly appreciate and enjoy it. Good, appreciated post and piece of work.

    • P-Body

  • P From Da D

This is a lot to say but I think production wise this was his best mixtape

  • Vic “Smoke” Damone

    KRIT WUZ HERE- Most Personal
    RETURN OF 4EVA- Best Production
    4EVA N A DAY- Best Lyrics

  • DuB

Can we finally get a Big K.R.I.T. review?

    • http://twitter.com/SauleWright Saule Wright

       of a free mixtape?

      • DuB

I think the quality of this makes it worth a review

    • Cota

I’m workin on something different as of right now…just editing

    • http://www.nappyafro.com/ B-Easy

      *Cough* Tyga review *cough*

      • DuB

It’s coming B! That bitch is long as fuck, and I’m a perfectionist like a mufucka!

    • Cota
  • Clay Davis

This has gotta be my favorite mixtape now, start to finish I’m playin it the whole way through

    • P-Body

      I agree Clay

  • Cap n Hands

although krit is talented as an artist, i wont be bumping this. its just not my style.

  • Mr. Jones

“Boobie Miles”, “Wake Up”, “Me and My Old School”, “Insomnia”, and “The Alarm” are some highlights in my mind, but all the songs are good, if not in a way that i’ll really remember later on. Dude has such mature concepts and ideas, and he’s a pretty good lyricist.

  • P From Da D

Whats not being said is this might be on of the best covers of all time

    • Clay Davis

i was thinking tat same shit it really does look like art. I’m thinkin about having it painted.

  • Arkitekt702

I don’t see this as a mixtape. yeah, it’s free and labeled as one, but there is nothing recycled about it. new beats, new lyrics, what more can you ask for?

  • Mike L

Honestly, what’s fucked up to me, is that even though I can intellectually tell that this is a very masterful piece of work, it’s so different from what I’ve become accustomed to listening to that I dunno what to make of it.

Like whenever I download a mixtape I have an expectation. Banging, but generic sounding beats, and simple but catchy punchlines. Guys like Cole, KRIT, and Kendrick Lamar, always get a sideways look from me now cause I’m like, “yea, yea, dude lyrical and shit, but he ain’t making no hype shit! Dismissed.”

I think I kill hip hop a lil bit everyday…

    • http://twitter.com/SauleWright Saule Wright

“music” has been getting by on those canned drum beats and “boom tic” compositions so long that songs with layers are odd. At some point, we stopped caring what was said at all, and just wanted a hot beat…the “A Millie” affect. lol

  • Rob

    Dope mixtape.
