It’s no doubt that J. Cole puts on for his city. To celebrate the inaugural “Dreamville Weekend” in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina as well as the announcement of an official “J. Cole Day” there, Cole releases a new track titled “Visionz Of Home”. This Elite produced track probably would be even better if I was from Fayetteville and could understand some of the references, but either way it’s good music.
Sidenote #1: I just remember that J. Cole wrote the original version of Diddy & Dirty Money’s “Coming Home”. Seems kinda fitting here.
Sidenote #2: Cole pretty much always turns in good work with talking about his city. “Home For The Holidays” is one of his best songs (To me at least).
