I’ve said in the past, as I’m pretty sure a lot will agree, that all Joe Budden really needs is better beats backing him up to take him really over the top. While I do like a lot of his original material, it seems like when Joey jumps on somebody else’s production it usually even turns out good (Even over R&B tracks like “Unthinkable” & “Russian Roulette” it turns out pretty dope). After saying all that, you know I’m all for Budden rapping over the opening track off Kanye & Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne. And in true Budden fashion, he drops lines about current topics like the Drake & Common beef, Love & Hip Hop, Joe Paterno’s death, & even Heidi Klum & Seal’s Divorce.
