I always thought Chase N. Cashe as producer was dope, but as a rapper I never really really gave him a chance. I’ve listened to a few of his songs in the past (Which were mostly were good) and even downloaded his last mixtape Gumbeaux (Which I honestly really didn’t like as much). But for a second now he’s been releasing tracks hyping his upcoming DJ Drama hosted mixtape The Heir Up There and most of the music has also been pretty good. “✞rill Living 4.0” has Jake One handling the production duties and the results make me wanna go back and check out Chase’s material again (Or go back and listen to White Van Music).
Sidenote #1: Chase N. Cashe also produced one my favorite track of last year; “Look What You’ve Done” off Drake’s Take Care.
Sidenote #2: Some of the reason I posted this was to the ✞ symbol on nappyafro. I thought it looked cool.
