B-Easy January 7, 2012 21

Let’s put it out there; I watch a lot of movies (Have you seen my Tumblr?). And just like last year and the year before that, I will post up all the movies that came out in 2011 that I saw in 2011. Individually: B-Easy – 104 H20 – 57

I don’t know if that says that I watch too many movies or if H20 just has a much better social life. It must be noted that I barely went to the theaters all last year. Also, I don’t know if we were allowed to mention The Strange Thing About The Johnsons. We didn’t but maybe that was for the best.

  • H20

    It’s because I was broke.

  • P-Body

That’s crazy! I haven’t seen nowhere near that much this year or previous years before. I’ll have to check out some of these when I get some time to sit down and watch a movie.

  • http://twitter.com/forzarazaworld Ryan Heszelgraves

Submarine is probably the shitest film i’ve seen in agesssss. Also you guys didn’t watch my Top 2 films of last year, Hugo and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

    • http://www.nappyafro.com/ B-Easy

I watched ‘Submarine’ because I thought it was Beatles biography for some reason (Wasn’t terrible though). ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ was kinda boring so I never got to finish it but people keep telling me I should. I still want to see ‘Hugo’.

I haven’t even seen 1/5 of those movies. How much of those did you see in theaters? My top 5
    1. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
    2. 50/50
    3. Hangover 2
    4. Super 8
    5. Horrible Bosses / Transformers 3 / 30 Minutes or Less

…everything else I saw was terrible.

    • http://www.nappyafro.com/ B-Easy

I rarely went to the theaters; maybe twice. I really only went on dates so after I bought a bigger TV I just started bringing chicks to the crib to watch movies instead.

  • Mr. Jones

    1. The Adventures of Tintin
    2. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
    3. Warrior
    4. Attack the Block
    5. Drive
    6. The Tree of Life
    7. Take Shelter
    8. 50/50
    9. Source Code
    10. Paul

Honorable Mentions: Captain America, Martha May Marlene, The Beaver

There were some great movies this year, but i didn’t really like a lot of the oscar movies this year (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Artist, especially Moneyball).

    • H20

Tintin was garbage. It just dragged on and on.

      • Mr. Jones

        hardly

  • http://www.nappyafro.com/ B-Easy

You didn’t like ‘Moneyball’? And you hated ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’? Okay, I haven’t seen ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’, but David Fincher has a pretty good track record.

    • Mr. Jones

Ive never like Fincher, but i’m more of a visual guy when it comes to movies.

      • http://www.nappyafro.com/ B-Easy

I don’t know, he directed ‘Fight Club’, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, ‘Seven’; he’s pretty visual.

        • MrHusein

yeah he also Directed The Social Network. And the movies also fight club is my favorite movie of all time. I think he’s pretty good

          • MrHusein

and the movie Fight Club is also*

          • Anonymous

You got taste. That’s my favorite movie too.

          • MrHusein

Ive watched it about 7 times maybe more. Every time is like the first time. Just so brilliant and amazing

        • Mr. Jones

Fight Club is the only release of his i don’t outright dislike. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Social Network are godawful.

          • MrHusein

Benjamin Button was amazing. When watching those movies you have to watch closely. It teaches you lessons and is more than meets the eye. Outside the box movies

          • Mr. Jones

i love movies where i watch closely and learn. I thought that movie was incredibly gimmicky.
