The Numbers Game: Anthony Hamilton, Snoop Dogg, & Wiz Khalifa + Drake Goes Platinum

I respect the talent of Anthony Hamilton but I honestly thought he wasn’t dropping Back To Love until next year (Though no one told me that). Either way, 63,000 units sold and the #12 spot is pretty respectable.

File the Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa joint album/movie soundtrack/stoner soundtrack Mac And Devin Go to High School under music that just wasn’t in my radar. I didn’t even see if anyone in the crew wanted to review it. I will eventually listen to but now it’s just not a big priority (By the way, that movie looks like it’s gonna be horrible). Mac And Devin Go To High School pushes around 40,000 units and lands at #26.

And lastly, Drake kicked the sophomore jinx dead in the ass as Take Care crossed the million mark in just 5 weeks. Hey, it may be the softest album of the year but it’s on my “Best Of 2011” list. Take that Common. Or not.
