Leading the pack of new Hip-Hop/R&B releases this week is DJ Khaled with his 5th album We The Best Forever. His album debuts at #5 and sold 53,000 units. Not too bad considering that his last album, Victory, debut at #14 and sold less than half of that in it’s first week. Maybe Khaled’s move to Cash Money was a good one. Following last week’s death of Amy Winehouse, fans showed support by purchasing her last album Back To Black and pushing it into this week’s Top 10. Back To Black, which came out in 2007, re-entered the charts at #9 and sold 37,000 albums. To add to this, Winehouse’s first album, Frank, also moved back into the charts at #57 and sold 8,000 albums. Don’t be surprised if her sales are still strong next week.
