The submissions don’t stop fro’nation. This week, we get another mixtape in the box from the DMV. This brotha’s name is June G reppin’ Silver Springs, MD and he’s one of the newest cats I’ve seen that seem to take it back to the roots. Now, I’m speaking off of the “Supa Star” video/song posted below, but if this is any indication, this mixtape is going to quickly become a favorite. I commented to a friend the other day that I think we’re on the fringe of a second Golden Era in Hip Hop, this guy seems to be proving me right.
