First off, let me apologize, we haven’t done a SOTW since Feb. DAMN. We’ve been giving you music, but not this category. Did you miss it? Who said not really? Bastid! Anyway, I’m droppin’ one off this week that I hope you will enjoy. In last week’s Nardwuar vs. Lil’ Wayne , weezy talked about MC Thick. Now, just to clear that up, that’s not MC Thic Flair, just so you know…ahem. Anyway, the particular song they were on is “Marerro.” In my city, we banged that joint relentlessly when it came out…so much so, that for a while, I thought he was a STL cat. So this week, for SOTW, I’m posting this up for those of you that were not fortunate enough to hear this when it was first poppin’…it still bangs to me though.
