2Pac – Unreleased & Original (Compilation Vol. 6) [Mixtape]

Alrighty folks here goes Volume 6 of the unreleased and original recordings from Mr. Shakur. I really dig deep into my collection to find some of these songs to post… Like the previous mixtapes I made I had a hard time trying to find what song should stay and what songs should go on the next mixtape.

First it starts off with an old school 2Pac song probably around 89-90. The song is titled “Dayz Of A Criminal” and he basically is doing story telling like a lot of his older material. People forget that Pac did write stories besides the celebrations of thug life.

I threw in “Don’t You Trust Me” (Original). To me the beat sound like some type of Tevin Campbell cut or something from back in the day. Eminem actually redid this song on Loyal To The Game album. Once again Pac goes with the story telling about women.

“N.I.G.G.A.” (Original) is another song which was on Loyal To The Game which Eminem had butchered. Enjoy the originals people and erase Eminem version from your mind.

“Dear Mama” (Original) is a little different. The hook is actually from a Yo-Yo song which really make this song sound different instead of the singing which was on the final version of Me Against The World. They use a breakbeat on this track as well.

“Out On Bail” (Live from 94 Source Awards). Basically the story behind that performance 2Pac had did what Kanye did with the Taylor Swift thing. A Tribe Called Quest was suppose to perform but 2Pac and his crew interrupt it and performed this song live uncensored, then at the end he threw the mic on the ground (Thats how you suppose to end a show). Afrika Bambaataa made Pac apologize afterwards.

I had to include “The Struggles Continues” which is still unreleased from One Nation album and damn the intro is long as fuck so I’ll give you a heads up on that. Also the Mike Tyson songs he did “Road 2 Glory” which Tyson came out using this song when he fought Frank Bruno and then the “Ambition As A Fighta” over the same beat as “Ambition As A Ridah”.

One of my favorite Pac songs “Staring Thru My Rearview”, this is the movie version which is still unreleased. On The Gang Related soundtrack the song was a lot longer and the beat is a little different but I love both versions! “Grab The Mic” is actually “Staring Thru My Rearview” Part 2! (That song was included from Unreleased & Original Vol. 1)

This edition consist of alternate and rare recordings point blank period from Pac.

Here is the final original version of “U Can Call” and also “Fuck Friendz” (Which is a sex song but he still manage to throw a Jay-Z and Dr. Dre diss kinda like “Toss It Up”). Remember the Until The End Of Time version of “Fuck Friendz” which Nas sampled 2Pac saying “Fuck Jay-Z” for the “Ether” song? That’s one of the reasons why I love that “Ether” song til this day.

“Just Watching” (Unreleased Alternate) is different from the other mixtape I put this song on. This version has different instruments and echo on the snare. Its not much talking in the background and also Snoop talk a little before he raps. The singing is different on this one as well. Listen to how the beat break down and how the guitar is being played. I love this!

“War Gamez” (Unreleased Vocals). For some reason I can’t find the real version of this song but I did manage to find the vocals to this. Once again he disses Nas, Dr. Dre, Mobb Deep, Bad Boy, and Jay-Z.

Check out “Fuck Em All” (Original). This version sound much better than the Better Dayz version to me. He disses Bad Boy and the usual suspects.

“M.O.B.” (Original) is so much better than the Until The End Of Time version even though that version was dope too but this sound more gangsta and hardcore. The beat is really dope to me. I tell ya 2Pac knew how to pick beats. Some beats he picked before he died don’t even sound like it was made 14 years ago.

Alright guys and gals enjoy this mixtape series #6. Be on the lookout for #7! I got more where that came from along with unreleased rare cuts from Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem, UGK, and so forth.
