And I'm a little disappointed that I saved it for last. I expected this to be much better because of the good things I heard about it (was even on Premo's top 20 albums of 2009). This is what I can't stand about 90% of hip hop fans. This album was good, but are people not listening to what he's saying. The majority of his lyrics are so terrible it's not even funny. Plus the second half (after track 10) were some the wackest shit I've heard this year. You can't rate an album by only its good songs. On a positive note, 50 had the ear for beats on this album. He should thank his producers b/c most of the beats were bangin. I do think that Do you think about me is better than the comment though. It shows the diversity - that sound is certainly not 50ish in any way - much smoother than he usually does. I say had 'Baby By Me' not accompanied the album then 'Do You think about Me' would have appealed to the ear more. Over all I agree with the review though ... too bad this album probably will have low sales due to the climate of rap fans nowadays. Its not that bad to me. I love the hard core joints but the song for the women isn't for me at all though. Real talk but overall the album is straight. The beats are grimey, well some of them. The sound of that album is like a fucking movie. BISD is more raw and rugged, but it just sounds like an '03 50 doing the same shit he has always been doing. Not a lot of replay value for me.
