Song of the Week: Birdman – “#1 Stunna”
This weeks edition of Song of the Week is dedicated to Bryan “Baby, Birdman, Stunna” Williams. This coming off of his recent comments about Jay-Z being #1 on MTV’s Hottest list. Lists sure do make for ALOT of blog material. Now I can understand you going to bat for your team…but let’s be real Birdman, Weezy isn’t on Jay’s radar moneywise. You might be, but not your son. Back to the music. I know Birdman isn’t going to make anyone’s list of Top MC’s, but you can’t kid yourself and say Baby didn’t lay a gem down on this one. I know some of you “purists” out there are going to turn your nose up to this one, but this song still goes hard to this very day. As always, this is King Jerm reminding you to help control the pet population by having you pet spayed or neutered…WRONG SHOW! Enjoy this installment of Song of the Week!

I prefer Get Your Roll On. And Baby’s def eating off Wayne and will prolly eat more if Young Money blows (and I think they will) but is he even close to half a billi? I doubt it.
Baby on that 87 love boat if he thinks his “son” makes more money than Jay. Not that money matters, but Wayne isn’t on Jay’s level. Until Wayne has more than one above average album (Carter 2)….they need to stop it.
“#1 Stunna” is a tough song…can’t front…its a hit.
Finally, someone who agrees with me that C2 is Wayne’s strongest to date. C3 is most def NOT a classic
Yep…C2 is his best work. Bootleggin messed up C3 tho. Lots of those Carter 3 sessions songs were dope and could have made Carter 3 close to C2.
Without Juvenile and Lil Wayne the song wouldn’t be as good as it is, this is coming from a ex Cash Money Records fan. This song was the shit when it first released in 2000, I definitely had got my money and bought that Big Tymers CD.
