Saturday Music: Drake, Gucci Mane, Timbaland, & Eminem
You know most of us on the nappyafro Staff don’t usually do posts on Saturday right? But why the hell not? Especially when you get new music like this. First we got a CD quality version of Eminem’s “Taking My Ball” off the upcoming DJ Hero: Renegade Edition video game. Then we got three new songs from Drizzy Drake (Even though all sound like there works in process). “Say Something” is supposedly off Timbaland’s upcoming Shock Value 2, “Believe It Or Not” is with Gucci Mane, and “King Leon” solo. Sorry for just posting up songs and running without giving some award winning insight…but it is Saturday night. What do you want me to do?
Haven’t heard the Eminem track yet but these Drake tracks are FIRE I mean DAMN!!!! King Leon is soooo sick, I hope that’s just a snippet, cuz it’s mad short, and that needs to be on Thank Me Later

I don’t even like Gucci Mane, but i thought The Burrprint was actually pretty good. I’m starting to notice he’s actually pretty lyrical in some points.
I’m just upset that your using the word lyrical and Gucci Mane in the same comment. That’s REALLY stretching it.
if u listen 2 gucci, you’ll notice he actually got good word play. His metaphors getting better but right now it’s just mediocre. He just need 2 get his storytelling way better. His subject matter aint there.

Gucci’s word play is a bit high and the hit making ability is just ridiculous, utter bull. I’m not big on my Gucci knowledge but from what I heard I’ll give you Freaky Gurl and Wasted. Anyway really glad king of leon came with just drakes verse before the real version leaked, it goes much harder without all the “burr!”’s in the background. It’s too bad that its not actually a thank me later track
on The Burrprint it’s actually pretty obvious he’s got some skills.
Gucci definitely has something cooking in the pot there… Listen to Guccimerica… That shit is HOT.
