C-Murder gets life for shooting and killing a 16-year-old. Max B gets 75 years for his role in a robbery attempt-turned-homicide. Damn, even Plaxico Burress is going to Rikers for 20 months for shooting himself in the leg. And now Boosie gets two years in prison for drug and gun charges. Even though I shake my head because a lot of these situation could have probably been easily avoided, I also shake my head at more brothers going to jail.

But hopefully, when and if these men get out of prison, it will be a lesson learned and they will not have to venture down this path again. So the Song of the Week is dedicated to Boosie, Max B, C-Murder, Plaxico, Shyne, T.I., Tru Life, …. sad right? It’s Ludacris’ “Do Your Time” appropriately featuring three rappers who have been behind the steel bars, Beanie Sigel, C-Murder, & Pimp C (R.I.P.).

We gotta do better people.

Young Barry White. The geek out of the bunch. He is also Jay-Z’s biggest fan. He looks like your cousin from the burbs. He is “Pro Black” (not anti-white, just “Pro Black”). Probably the wittiest out of the bunch. It is said that he got fired from the same job three times.

    this is a good track. granted Luda has never been in the pen. i wish my manz Project Pat was on the track. he had just got out @ the time of the release. luda and triple 6 do have a relationship but i guess Pat is no longer taken seriously…

    Yeah Project Pat should’ve been on this. That dude been in the pen a few times during their underground days for aggrevated robbery, and shit like that. He definitely would’ve fit the song. When this song came out I was wondering why he wasn’t on there.

    You’re right these people should’ve thought about the decisions. Can’t feel sorry for somebody who know the consequences when doing a crime. C-Murder will be about 48 if he do 10 years but then again thats if he ever get out he already 38.

    Luda is underrated as a rapper real talk.
