Jay’s album is good…not great, but good. Rae’s joint is a smoker from top to bottom. Rae has the better album tho. This is coming from a certified Jay-Z fan, but been riding with Wu since 92/93. I copped two of each.

Blueprint 3 all the way. alot of ppl here saying OB4CL becase they heard others saying it. i don’t see niggas bumping that no where i mean it and know it. it was tight, but if u listen to hov with that 90’s vs the 2000 statyo will never get it. it different and hot. when u compare mainstream to underground artist ppl always think the ndergrond is better, forgetting that talent took niggas out of underground to mainstream. Rae doesn’t grow with his shit

I can’t believe BP3 is winnin… This shit is starting to bother me how yall playin off mediocre music as good… Smh

  3. ericka says:

if you chose Jay over Ray, you suck at both hip hop and life.

  4. Chip says:

Hov on that new shit, niggas like how come/niggas want my old shit/buy my old album

  5. mufucka says:

This poll shows why hip hop will never be the same. This shouldn’t even be close.

I guess kids will buy anything that gets advertised.

  6. mufucka says:

…unless some youngin’ refreshed the page and voted about 49 times.

  7. raza says:

No worries, some fans saw sense and now OBFCL2 is in front, the diserved winner

  8. saule wright says:

I don’t like either one of these more than Rick Ross, Jada, Slaughterhouse or Eminem. Hell, I don’t know which one I like more than the other out of these two.

  9. Spyzyda Myzayne says:

    OBFCL2 is fire wit it.

  10. Infamous F says:

Damn it’s at a tie. I seriously thought OB4CL2 would have this from a mile.

    Well then…

  11. P-Body says:

I gotta go with that Raekwon album. Jay-Z could’ve been better but some of them tracks are iffy and I wished he would have finished the Dead Presidents 3 joint. Personally me I think the Slaughterhouse is overrated, its a good album but I find myself skimming thru songs.

  12. Z Money says:

    the Blueprint is better

  13. Chew says:

I gotta admit, even though JAy’s album I’ve listened to like 4 times, and RAys about twice, I think Rays is a hell lot better.

  14. Mr. Jones says:

who the fuck is voting for new Jay-Z. That album is AWFUL.

  15. JSK says:

How in the hell is it 50/50? Rae should be killin Jay. Half the people comin to this site don’t know good rap music when they hear it. Jay’s album is alright, but it’s still one of his weakest to date. Rae’s album is so much better than his; the only reason people are voting for Jay is because they’re huge fans of his and are blind from seeing the weaknesses in his album.

  16. efr says:

    OB4CL2 all the way…

  17. chucky says:

i would like to quote the hazardous big L on this poll: “i don’t understand it”. raes album is the best hip hop album in years, better than relapse (i’m white), nas’ untitled album and ghosts fishscale album. rae took some of the hottest producers in history, starting with marley marl, goin on with pete rock, dr dre & the rza, and brought back that wu flavor on the mic, adding few, carefully chosen guests, such as beanie sigel, lox & slick rick, who all do a great job. this is an instant classic, a great concept which was realised with perfectionism.
and jay…should give rae a call and ask for the secret formula.

  18. enigma says:

    chef kills jay,
BP3 was a waste of my time,
    OB4CL2 is so sick.

  19. P-Body says:

Yeah that Raekwon album is definitely hot to me. I’m digging the bonus tracks and so forth.

    Chef Raekwon
