Jay-Z – “Reminder”
Another day, another leak from Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3. Dang. With basically no Hip-Hop releases, is this what nappyafro is reduced too? Just posting up songs all the time like a million other sites? Fuck it. We’ll bounce back. Oh yea; the song! I like the flow Jay has on “Reminder” and since this is the second straight leak with Timbaland on the boards, maybe it’ll calm down people who didn’t like “Off That”. So, I guess we can expect the entire Blueprint 3 to leak any day know huh?
I didn’t listen, at this point I’ll just wait for the album. But damn, kinda wanted Jay’s plan to hand deliver the album to stop leaks to work. Timbaland looking real fishy right now…
Alright, this is what I’m talking about. This a pretty damn good song, the beat’s on point, the lyrics are hot, everything works. The hook is repetitive at first, but it’s forgivable after a few spins. First hot song I fully cosign since “D.O.A.”.
This album is slowly leaking…let’s hope can hang in there for like 2 more weeks.
Ok… The track is crucial! I fucks wit it… Jay rode it to a worthy extent… But the hook… The hook… Somebody shoot that bitch in the face! Please! Much much better than “Off That”.

Ok, unlike Off That (Which I got used to a little bit, the stuff in it still pretty terrible except the decent beat), this song’s actually pretty good in the sense for the leaks. On the top of the leaks so far for me, under Jockin’ Jay-Z, History, D.O.A.
The song is dope, but why would he let the hook be done with a chick using an auto-tune? This is the man that put out D.O.A. and said that his whole album would be auto-tune free. Anyway, better than off that, but the hook on this wasn’t good.
check again man. the chick isn’t using auto-tune. it sounds more of a synthesizer to me, which makes since because Timbo uses a lot of that synth like sound.
Oh, alright, but I still can’t stand the hook on this one. The verses are pretty good, but the hook could’ve and should’ve been changed. I agree with V-G, that chick needs to get shot in the face.
