The Numbers Game: Black Eyed Peas Close In On Gold

*Sigh* I know the big news talk of the week is about will.i.am’s manager giving blogger Perez Hilton a few punches to the face, but I still hate to make Black Eyed Peas this week’s headline. But hey, The E.N.D. will probably be gold next week, so B.E.P. fans rejoice.

Did you notice Beyonce has TWO albums in the Top 50? Yep, Mrs. Carter released Above And Beyonce (A DVD/CD of video and remixes) last week and over 14,000 fans went to the store and bought it. She’s a beast!

Cali rapper The Jacka releases his official studio album, Tear Gas, and makes the Top 100. I won’t lie; I don’t know enough about him to comment. Shout out to California though!

Juicy J also released Hustle Till I Die last week (Which we didn’t review it. Our bad JSK…uh, for The Jacka too). Even though the album did sell 5,600 copies, this may be another sign of Three 6 Mafia’s best days being be behind them.
