What more can I say that SBK didn't. It's a great album you can play for an everyday mood. Plus the production was flawless, and was an experimental that actually worked. The only thing I didn't like was that I believed some tracks should of been extended. Top 5 of the year for me.

Top 5: Auditorium, Priority, Life In Marvelous Times, History (fav), Casa Bey

Grade: (4.3/5) A-

I like the review but remember mos and talib collaborated on the song "supreme" so history is not the first song with both of them since black star. Hip Hop Forever.

Mos Def's previous solo album releases include: Black On Both Sides (1999), New Danger (2004), True Magic (2006). His debut album Black On Both Sides is highly recommended to check out especially if you're new to Mos Def. His other two albums, New Danger and True Magic, aren't as strong but have some good songs. Also make sure you give a listen to Black Star (Mos Def & Talib Kweli), that album is classic material.
