Buy Guns; Don’t Fight Dogs

rawuncut

I am introducing yet another column where I give it to you RAW & UNCUT! No second takes, no do overs, straight off the top, without sparing anyone’s feelings. This week one of my favorite rappers made the news (not that he wasn’t in it anyway) by only having to serve 2 months of his already LOW sentence. I’m all for a someone beating the system, but this one made me nauseous! T.I. was facing 10 years for each or his 3 counts for purchasing firearms and silencers. So if you do the math, that is 30 years! He was sentenced to 366 days, which was put off so he could handle some business. I had always thought that he wasn’t going to do any time, but when the airways were flooded this week about him getting credit for his “home detention” I was livid. Is this the same home detention that allowed him to perform at the Grammy’s?  The same home detention that allowed him to perform at various spots? Is this the same home detention that allowed him to visit nightclubs? So how can you credit it as TIME SERVED? I know this is coming off as bitter, but I just want to know if I go out and do the same thing, will I get the same deal? How can the justice system explain this to all the other guys that are serving time for doing the same thing? I am still a fan of T.I. and I will continue to listen to his music, but in the back of my mind I will always wonder how he got this SWEET of a deal.

WELCOME HOME MIKE VICK!
