It’s a good album. I was a little dissapointed though. It seemed like the album was not completely finished and they tried a different sound of what we’re use to hearing.

Top 5: The Pimp & The Bun, Swishas & Erb, Purse Comes First, Steal Your Mind, Da Game Been Good To Me

Yeah 3.5 sounds pretty good to me too. This album was ok, better than a lot of people albums but still wasn’t the UGK stuff I was use to. Its some songs I can ride too though.

I agree that this wasn’t UGK’s best released album by any means as I would definitely rate ‘Ridin’ Dirty’ and ‘Underground Kingz’ higher. But as the last UGK album to ever be released, it was a decent way to go out. It was definitely a difference to the album not having Pimp C physically involved with the process and putting his personal touches on it, but Bun held it down pretty good on his own in figuring what Pimp would have been pleased with. I’m sure that this was a difficult album for Bun to complete with Pimp C’s death and it being the last UGK album to be released, so it’s hard to be too critical on this album for that matter. In regards to the 4 star rating that I gave the album, it might have been 3.5 stars instead but the 3.5 star rating that ‘Underground Kingz’ received should have been a 4 star as it was a better album.

This album was straight, not all that to me. I was kinda dissappointed too. Ridin Dirty is definitely their best album and on that “Harry Asshole” song, they sampled their old song “Left It Wet” from their 94 album “Supertight”. I recognized that sample when the beat first came on. Overall the album is ok but it wasn’t the same without Pimp C putting his final touches on the album, I felt it was kinda rushed.

I tried to like this album out of respect for the Pimp, but I really wasn’t feeling this album. I can understand the rating though
