Wow, who knew T.I. would pull out the big guns like this? I saw this the other night but it was late and I thought it was a blend or some shit. After waking up late as hell, I guess I was wrong. The song is not bad, but it seems like they all had a vocoder/Auto-Tune party.Does this get you excited about Paper Trail? Also,  somebody tell me if that’s a M.I.A. sample on the hook.

Yep, sounds like M.I.A to me…LOL

unfortunately, it IS M.I.A. and I think the song is bad. Each rapper gives up some forgettable flows, especially T.I……”…my flow is cold as feb….” That’s like the LEAST cold of the winter months. It’s damn near spring.

It’s okay. The Hook is ANNOYING. I was expecting something else, but it’s aight (not going to listen to it again). Jay-Z and Tip had the best verses. I hope Paper Trail is going to be good cuz I’m beginning to doubt that.

I Liked Everybody On This Except For That Damned Vocoder Shit! It’s Fuckin Annoying… And No One Unleashed Qoutable Lines, But They Were Entertaining For A First Listen. And The Other Paper Trail Songs That Leaked With It Were Better.

Yeahh I Was Really Disappointed, Although If It Was Anybody Else But These Rappers Spittin These Verses They Would Be Getting Lauded As Infinitely Better Than They Were But Since Their Names Hold So Much Weight the Track Is Just Mediocre At Best

I’m not a fan of this joint. Its ok and T.I. spit some, but how can you call this joint “Swagger Like Us” when ya’ll stealing the swagger from Roger Troutman. Then Troutman was bit from Teddy (The Guy and Blackstreet), then he got bit by T-Pain, and then the rest of the world had to get a plate as well. Even though this song got some of the hottest people in the game, but it still missing that element behind. The line up didn’t really bring my attention to be honest especially since none of them aren’t really making headlining material at the moment. These days people are lazy, and none of these rappers are making anything exciting right now or anything that is pushing to spend the night at Best Buys like the old days. I’m not hating, I’m just being real about mine mayne. I like Wayne but I feel he is overrated like a mutha. I’m here representing the south, and we still running it but we need better bangers. You know what just scratch that, we need to really have more better albums so we can continue to hold the flame. This song isn’t terrible, but its not mouth dropping either just like that T.I. and Ludacris song. Them two guys together just don’t give me that feeling where it is a demand for me to hear it.

So everybody is giving Jay a pass for singing…”Hoo-ooova!” Haha! B-Easy said that when Jay did the “Put On” remix that he was putting an end to the vocoder like the he allegedly did with jerseys. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t he use that joint on this song? If I was hearing right.

But of course I will be called a hater by Easy and H20 for stating the facts about Jay, who I happen to like.

I forgot to say that I like the song in the midst of all my “hate” on Jay. That song grows on you after a couple of listens.

T.I. has the best verse. Actually said something worth listening to.

    I Didn’t Hear The Vocoder On Jay-Z….

  11. Infamous F on August 24th, 2008 1:02 pm

Yea, I think I heard Jay using the Auto-Tune too, but I thought I was trippin’.

No lie T.I. has been and always will be my favorite rapper of all time. Not for any reason in particular i just like the dude, i feel his shit deep. That aside i’ll get to the point, he MURDERED this track. It is by far the best flow he’s dropped in all of the leaked songs for paper trail. Dude’s really stepped his lyrical game up. And yes the sample starts getting annoying but it grows on you kinda like A milli, damn that shit was annoying when it dropped…

I Gotta Give it To T.I. And Young Dro For Consitently Using Seven Letter Or More Words In Their Verses… lol… Forreal Check Theses Niggas Out. They Use Some Long Ass Words!

  15. Chip on August 25th, 2008 12:58 am

Jay doesn’t use the vocoder but still singing Hova…wtf. I’m gonna have to say that this is his weakest guest appearance this year, shit maybe even in a while. I can’t say this song is bad, but its bizarre. The beat and hook aren’t bad to me but it just sounds weird. Maybe I’d like that “shit and urine” and “Christopher Colombus, y’all just pilgrims” lines if Kanye would leave the damn vocoder alone. For now I’m gonna call this just as disappointing as Hello Brooklyn, not bad but they could definitely do better. And Hov says he might put this on BP3…please God no.

I shouldn’t have listen to something over and over so it will grow on me? I don’t want a rap song to grow on me. I want it to be good to begin with. You develop a taste for things that are edible. That grows on you. Substance less music that’s lazy and full of dudes that are smellin their selves doesn’t grown on you. You get used to it. Kinda like the radio and tv playing the same thing over and over till the point that it won’t leave you brain. Then you end up humming it or singing or whatever.

I think jay part was the best…..weezy part was second best…..kanye part was 3rd and T.I part was WACK

  18. V-G on September 15th, 2008 9:25 pm

Are you fuckin playin nigga???? T.I. killed his verse then Jay/Ye, then Weezy.

  19. MindState on October 14th, 2008 5:43 pm

Yeah that’s M.I.A. wit her sexy ass, but I’m sorry that sample is annoying!
