The Numbers Game: Re-Up Gang Lands At #55 (by B-Easy)
August 14, 2008 by nappyafro.com Staff

If you are scratching you head and asking yourself, “Why did Easy put the Re-Up Gang’s pic up as if landing at #55 is anything special?” Well, shit, I honestly thought they wouldn’t crack the top 100 (Plus add in that most of album is recycled rhymes from Got It For Cheap Vol. 3…). Also, don’t ask me where the Nappy Roots review is. Forward all complaints to kingjerm at imalazyass.com (It’s not your fault SBK). I’ve been looking for some Outlawz numbers to see where they ranked this week and most of the time that’s not a good sign. Oh yeah, I don’t know if it’s me, but I had no idea that Lloyd’s album dropped last week. It’s also good to see Nas clear 300,000; at this rate he’ll hopefully go Gold. Let’s get to…
#5 Lil’ Wayne/Tha Carter III (Last Week: #5) - 67,138; Total: 2,143,098 (2X Platinum) [9 Weeks]
#7 Lloyd/Lessons In Love (Last Week: NA) - 51,284; Total: NA [Debut]
#9 Rhianna/Good Girl Gone Bad (Last Week: #12) - 43,865; Total: 1,594,437 (Platinum) [62 Weeks]
#17 Nas/Untitled (Last Week: #10) - 24,970; Total: 316,350 [4 Weeks]
#31 Usher/Here I Stand (Last Week: #24) - 15,538; Total: 964,062 (Gold) [10 Weeks]
#38 Plies/Definition Of Real (Last Week: #29) - 13,290; Total: 446,882 [9 Weeks]
#39 David Banner/The Greatest Story Ever Told (Last Week: #31) - 13,249; Total: 101,632 [4 Weeks]
#43 Three 6 Mafia/Last 2 Walk (Last Week: #33) - 12,420; Total: 196,954 [7 Weeks]
#55 Re-Up Gang/The Clipse Presents… (Last Week: NA) - 9,858; Total: NA [Debut]
#73 Nappy Roots/The Humdinger (Last Week: NA) - 7,722; Total: NA [Debut]

Lmao what happened to G-Unot?! And I can’t believe Wayne is still going… Props to Nas though, wish more people bought that.
So wait….Rhianna been riding that last album for 62 weeks? She is #9 with an album that is over a year old? DAYUM. The flip side is I don’t see how it’s only 1x Plat.
lol yea eh.
I have not really heard anything about that new Nappy Roots. What’s up with the review?
The Nappy album is good.
HipHopDX gave it 4/5, Dj booth gave it 4/5, RapReviews gave it 8/10. I think you should review it man.
I was one of the few 7,722 fans to buy the Nappy Roots album being that i’m from Kentucky and I agree, the album is real good. Best one they’ve made in my opinion plus its got some new creativity with them being independent artists now. It should definitely be reviewed
